Native to southeastern Europe Feverfew has been used for centuries as an herbal remedy. It is used to ease the pain of headaches. It is said feverfew limits the inflammation of blood vessels in the head. This may stop the blood vessel spasm which is believed to contribute to headaches and migraines. It is therefore used to reduce the number and severity of migraine attacks.

It has also been used for treating fever, arthritis and digestive problems.

Feverfew is also used to treat menstrual irregularities, labor difficulties, skin conditions, stomach aches, and asthma.
